AVVA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America is offering two scholarships per year.  One, the Elayne Mackey Memorial Scholarship, is available for young people just leaving high school ("entering Students"), who are children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of U.S. Veterans or AVVA members.  The other, The Elayme Mackey Second Chance Scholarship, is available for Veterans and AVVA members, as well as their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, or spouses who need assistance with furthering their education and job skills, and have already left high school behind them.

On behalf of the AVVA National Scholarship Program Committee, we would like to invite you to make a difference in the lives of our Veterans and their families by helping us assist them in gaining the education they need to create a better life.

The Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. (AVVA) is a 501C3 corporation.  Our main focus is on programs and educational materials to support Veterans, Veteran families and the families of our active military.  We are a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the awareness of issues affecting those listed above and the communities that we live in.  AVVA strives to ensure that ALL Veterans attain the honor, respect and benefits they deserve.
